This e-portfolio is part of my DiDA course (Edexcel). We have used many websites along the way in this project, such as: the Summative Project Brief on the Edexcel website, and the Make Space website.

The Summative Project Brief gives us details of everything we need to complete in the course. After reading through, you find out that the whole project is based around planning and setting up a Make Space club in our local area. Make Space is an organisation that supports the development of a network of youth clubs and encourages new clubs, for those aged between 11 and 16 across England.

The main aims of the project are:

• To learn how to plan a major project over a long time span
• To research local activities and analyse the results
• To make decisions based on the results and then publicise the club / activity that you decide on.

First of all, we read through the SPB after that I planned how I was going to get everything done that I needed to, over the 1 1/2 years that I had been permitted to complete the project. It is very important to plan long projects like this, because otherwise you will end up doing each individual part of the project in the wrong order, and potentially miss the deadline.
